Where I do the play with The Sun
I dreamed the drama team was doing a play with the children's choir. I was not only a leader but a performer as well. It was day one, we had just gotten our lines, and we were practicing on the stage. The children started singing and the drama people started marching up onto the stage, when I realized I had forgotten my script. I walked back down off the stage to get it. Dacia stopped the music and gave me this angry glare. "You should have gotten that script BEFORE you went up on stage! Bad habits like these are going to get you in trouble some day!"
Then the same thing happened later. My character was supposed to stand in front of the set (which portrayed a blue sky and then a big wall) and catch "The Sun" as it came running down the middle aisle of the church. But I forgot my script again, so I went down off the stage just as the person playing "The Sun" (Manda maybe? No, I think it was a guy) came running down the aisle. Obviously they weren't too bright, because they still ran up the stairs and jumped as if I was going to catch them and, needless to say, they fell.
Embarrassed, I ran down to a kitchen in the basement (not the one that is down there, though, it looked different) to find a bunch of the cast members making lobster. Paula was not happy about this for some reason.
Later, I went to apologize to Dacia for the mistakes I'd made and apologized *very* profusely, and she was all, "Oh, that's all right... But the REST of these KIDS!" And I knew she meant the drama team members, although as far as I could remember they hadn't done anything wrong. She was rattling a bunch of papers (in her anguish, I guess) and was going, "Why, oh, why, did I ever agere to do this?"
