Where I go to the RinkUnion and Boneschnitzel
I dreamed I was at the RinkUnion. For some reason, Christy was there with me, as was Chris from choir. We had this big old mansion we were renting, and the only thing we did there all day was play hide and seek. So we hid in closets, under beds... somehow South Park was connected to all this, but that's kind of hazy.
Eventually it turned out that was all a movie, and we weren't really playing hide and seek at the RinkUnion at all, but now it was time to go home. We were all standing outside the airport, and Christy and daniel78 and I were about ready to get on the same plane to go home. Sam came up to me and said, "I don't know if you and Daniel are together or anything, but I think you would make a really charming couple." Which kind of weirded me out. And then Daniel and I didn't even end up flying home on the same plane after all.
There's also a moment somewhere in here where Caitlin's home from New Zealand, and my stalker from last semester and I are taking her out to dinner. The only way to the restaurant is down this incredibly steep rocky path, but my stalker tells us it's faster to walk directly ON the rocks and not on the path. I discover this is true, because the rocks are covered with "heather" and I discover I can skate down the heather and get to the bottom faster.
Next thing I know, I'm going to the Sauk play again. I buy two student tickets, planning to take my sister, but somehow she gets left behind when I leave the house, so now I've got an extra ticket. Christy's wandering around there, so I try to take her with me. Rina from kids' lit is running the tickets, but she's doing a really sloppy job with the whole thing. Christy and I go in, sit down, and halfway through the play I have to leave, so I get up and leave.
The next night I feel bad that I didn't get to see the whole thing, so I go back and buy two MORE student tickets (only now they're red because they're a different price). I actually end up cheating Rina as she's sorting her money and tell her that I've already given her my money, when really I haven't given her anything at all. So she gives me the tickets, and I realize I was going to ask Staci from drama to come to the play with me, but I forgot her at home, too. She's wandering around and I try to get her to come see it, but she's already got her own tickets with her own friends.
As I get ready to go inside the theater, Jason is standing outside the theater giving a lecture to those going in - almost like a tour guide thing, actually - about a man named Gavin Gmail (yeah, like the email service) who had to use his cell phone in the middle of the play. "His grandmother was dying," Jason says. "Of course, that gives him no excuse, but still, it was nice of him to tell me." Then he ushers us on in, but once again I have to leave in the middle of the show, with a very sad realization that I will probably never see the end again.
