Where we redo the ATTWO play in ancient Roman garb
I dreamed that I was at drama and Jayme decided we were going to go thru the "And Then There Was One" play again for the next several practices, but focus on different people every time. Like nitpick them, I guess. She decided 'twould be Clayhorn and Mimms today. We get ready to start the scene and by a strange coincidence I am wearing my Mimms outfit 'cept the apron is tied around my neck and my Sunday skirt instead of the black dress. And Canaan is wearing his butler outfit, I think, except in hindsight it was nothing LIKE the butler outfit. It was like a green and red toga. *blink* Yeah.

We start going thru the scene. And we get as far as when he's supposed to pop up from behind the couch. So not very far. And he's not behind the couch, he's sitting on it. I'm a bit confused as he's supposed to be behind the couch, and sort of stop and look at Jayme, who says, "This is just a rehearsal. Don't worry. Just sit on him."

Needless to say I'm a bit taken aback by this instruction, and Jayme says, "Let's go back to your last line." But nobody can remember WHAT my last line is. (Thinking on it while I'm awake it would be, erm, my very first line. Since I only say one line before he's supposed to jump up. Hmm.)

I hunt around in my folder and finally find the script, except it's in an actual book instead of just a bunch of stapled papers. I open it up and realize my last line is something in FRENCH. I tell Jayme about this and she says, "Oh, yeah, we cut all that stuff out." I look through the script and discover there is a lot of stuff we never did in our performance.

Kayla goes up to practice next and I'm reading along with her in my script, but she reads one of the cut-out parts... a scene 5, where she rants and raves about the insanity of '60s music. But she also mentions "Hairspray." Whee!

At some point, too, Bethany was wheeling herself around in a wheelchair... hmm..
