Where I have a very inconvenient method of traveling to the church
I dreamed that I had to go to church, but about ten minutes before I had to leave, I decided it would be a great idea to bike out to the Epps' house (except they lived more like where Jayme lives). Needless to say, I was extremely late for church when I got there. Instead of biking from there to the church, I really wanted to drive there, so I biked BACK to my house and drove to the church from there.

Where Jayme wants to get a tattoo
I dreamed that Jayme, Dianna, and Manda showed up at my house. They said since we didn't have drama that evening, we could celebrate by having a leaders' bash. This sounded good to me, so we all went out to dinner. After that, Jayme said, "Next, let's all go to the tattoo parlor and get tattoos!" I tried to tell her I didn't want to do that, but everyone thought I was just being silly.

Where Jayme won't let me tell her about my summer plans
I dreamed I was at drama. It was being held in the gym of the new building. There were several people walking around, including people I haven't seen in a very long time (like Justin H). Alicia, Chloe, and Karen were also there. I tried to present my idea for summer workships to Jayme, but every time I tried to tell her, she would say, "Tell me later, later. Not right now."

Where Trenton sings Superchick in falsetto
I dreamed we were doing the play and going over a scene between Trenton and Amber. Part of Trenton's part was to sing "Wonder" by Superchic[k] which is not even an appropriate song for him to sing contentwise. We stopped him halfway through the song and asked him to start over for some reason or other, and he started over, but sang it like an octave higher than he was, all in falsetto. It was horrible. Jayme said, "Well, start that over, and this time, maybe let your emotion show through." I went over and said, "Erm...don't we want to tell him to lower the key too?" and she said, "Oh, yeah, probably."

Where the youth play has songs in it and Dad breaks Mom
I had a dream that at one point Jayme and Dianna were going to re-write the spring play so that it had songs in it. I wasn't too sure about this idea, so I read through some of their re-writes. They had definitely re-written it as an Oregon Trail diary, with lots of bad songs that were parodies of real songs. However, I decided to try one out, so I had the drama team try to practice one that was written to the tune of "You're the Top". Considering most of them couldn't sing, it sounded really good.

Next thing I knew, I was getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. My mom and dad's room is right next to the bathroom. For some reason I decided to open their door (to say good night to them, I think). When I opened the door, my mom was trying to exercise, and Dad was apparently trying to help her out. He had picked her up and somehow scrunched her up until she was practically in the fetal position. She started screaming that she'd never be able to straighten out again, so he quickly let go of her and she landed on the bed. But it was true, she wasn't able to straighten herself out. She just sort of lay there on the bed, trying to move back into normal position and shaking.

Where the Christmas play flops
I dreamed that we were reperforming the Christmas play because the performance we did was really just a dress rehearsal that people could come to if they wanted. We showed up on this night and found out that half the cast members weren’t even there. It was mostly just me, Jayme, Amanda, Alicia, and Eden, who was back with us. We did the best we could, but it was really bad.

Halfway through scene three, I suddenly remembered we’d decided to change the ending for the play, because the original ending involved someone killing someone else, and we’d decided it was too gruesome. However we’d never had time to write up a new ending, so I had to improvise one on the spot. I couldn’t give my normal cues, because then people would just go ahead with the original ending.

I remember walking to the door on the stage and thinking, “What am I going to do?” and I opened the door and Jayme, Alicia, and Eden were standing there. I thought, Oh, phew, I can count on them to improvise for me! and I quickly let them in on the situation, and then realizing mics were still on, so the audience could hear everything.

I went back out onto the stage, counting on those girls to come out and back me up in whatever improv I ended up doing for this ending. However, people just kept POURING out of that back room. Before long there were about eighteen girls on the stage, including the three I’d seen before, and then Sarah G, Olivia S, Manda, and a bunch of people I didn’t recognize. I said, “Not ALL of you are supposed to come out!” There was a disapproving laugh from the audience and I was struck with the realization that what I’d said was hardly a good improv bit.

At the end of the third scene, Jayme suggested I go out and apologize to the audience. So I did, I went out in front, made some sort of “technical difficulties” excuse, and said we’d be happy to refund their money or show a video of the previous night’s show for free.

Where Jayme tries to kill me
I had a dream that Jayme tried to kill me with scissors because while Nan and I were talking Nan had a heart attack and Jayme said it was my fault.

With the guy with the cushion stuck to his face, and filming and watching movies
I had this really, really, LONG dream that I'm going to try to remember, but it was all in bits and pieces.

There was a piece where Jayme and Dianna and I were assigning parts for the Christmas play. Leonie was back, and she and Travis ended up getting the leads. The drama team was all sitting around in my living room discussing the play and I accidentally mentioned that Leo and Travis were going to be the leads, but no one seemed to notice I told them before they were supposed to know.

Then Hannah A and Kayla walk in, and Hannah's holding a book and a movie, apparently the book and movie versions of the play we're going to do, titled "Flight To Journey" or something equally ridiculous. Jayme goes, "Ohhhhh, Hannah's done her research!" and proudly points to the movie, which we all then go into a huge theater to watch.

A bunch of other stuff happens in the middle but I can't remember exactly what. I do remember being in the theater watching the movie (which starred Gregory Peck) and seeing a guy walk down the stairs to a seat. The guy was a friend of someone's, only he couldn't walk very well - I think he was slightly mentally challenged or whatever they call it - and all of a sudden he fell down the stairs and landed RIGHT on his nose.

We all jumped up to see if he was okay, and he stands up and we discover he fell down and his face somehow got jammed into a cushion that was sitting on the stairs and now it was stuck to his face. We all tried to get it off but he kept screaming, "I think I broke my eyelid!" In all the confusion, a duck that was apparently Kayla's pet waddled over to me and sat there staring me in the face, except then it turned into a raccoon and tried to bite my finger.

There was also a part where Tim and Angela and I were filming a movie - I was the director and Tim and Angela were the stars, and it was an action movie set on a mountain. Some random guy in a leather jacket came up to Tim and said, "You are a cool party horse," and Tim punched him.

That's all I can remember.

Where Dad corrects my French paper and I miss a drama meeting
I dreamed I was at the church for drama but it was 8:00 so drama was over. I went upstairs and was working on a paper I was writing for French. When Dad arrived I asked him to proofread it for me (despite the fact that, er, he doesn't speak French). He read through it and said, "You're missing some of your letters."

"Like what?" I asked him.

"Like the small e that's white written on a black background, and the one that's like an 'e' turned upside down."

"Oh, kind of like a 9?" I ask, although that wouldn't be upside down, that'd be backward.

We wander down into the church basement where I look across the hall and find that Jayme and Dianna are sitting in the room across from the drama room, having a planning meeting and looking angrily at me. I look at my watch and it's 9:30, and I realize suddenly they've been down here for an hour and a half waiting for ME.

Where Lisa's dog gets mud on me
I dreamed Lisa moved down the street from Nich and Jayme, and Dai for some reason was at Lisa's house so I went down there to talk to Dai. There was this huge wooden fence around the yard and when I opened the gate to go in, a giant dog came out covered in mud and started leaning up against me and getting all the mud on to me. Lisa came out at this point and said, "Oh, yeah, she does this sometimes."

So I yelled at the dog to stop and she did and I said, "Good girl." Lisa said, "Oh no! If you tell her that she'll do it again!" And sure enough, she started rubbing the mud all over me again. So I told her to stop again and she did again.......

There was also something where Lisa had just had Moriah and wasn't allowed to be walking around yet so I kept trying to shoo her back into the house. And I never DID get to talk to Dai.

Where PJ reads my prayer journal
I dreamed a long dream where we were at a hotel with a lot of people, including my family, Nich and Jayme (no Andie, though, I wonder where she went?), a maid, and a psychopath. The psychopath was murdered, and then I found the maid leaning over this giant hole that went to nowhere. She looked up and I could see in her eyes that she wanted me to push her into the hole, so I did, and then wrote about it in my journal, which was making me a bit worried that I'd killed her.

At one point we were trying to get my family back into the van, and my mom had this ultra-cool neon sign that reported how many people were NOT in our van. It'd count down from 10 to 0, and when it was at 0 that meant everyone was in and we could go. So me, Bethany, and Mom were in a large group of people and then finally saw the sign at 3, so we went and drove off in the van.

Next thing I know, I'm at youth group, chatting with a bunch of people, and PJ comes up and drops my prayer journal in my lap. I'm surprised and ask him where the heck he got it, and am told that it's now a requirement to be a youth leader that PJ read any prayer journals we've kept over the past year or so. He then proceeds to say very loudly in front of the entire youth group that I can't be a youth leader, my entries are too depressing and I obviously don't have the joy of the Lord. He also makes some comment like, "And like 3/4 of it are about... MUCHACHOS!" (Which is very not true of my real prayer journal. Heh. My journal entries are generally stuff about me spiritually or friends.)

He also protested to the fact that the first half of it *wasn't* a prayer journal 'cause I used a used notebook. Apparently I had like Betty Crocker recipes in the first half of it. He's flipping through the pages saying, "And, yeah, see, see, I didn't like all this Betty Crocker stuff!"

Where Chloe is a killer
I dreamed I went to the drama murder mystery party, except it was at my house. We had discovered who the murderer was, and now were waiting for kids' parents to come and take them home. Amber was pacing around outside on the front porch, and Chloe was with her. I went upstairs, where Dianna, Amanda, Jayme, Joey, and Canaan were gathered in the bathroom. I went in and started talking with them.

Chloe came in at that moment, except her eyes were sort of glazed over and kept twitching, as if she couldn't see very well out of them. I asked her where Amber was, and she said, "Oh, you know her. She's still downstairs."

Suddenly I knew Chloe was a real killer and had killed Amber. There was a sharp knife on the bathroom floor, and I picked it up but knew I wasn't strong enough to try to attack her, so I gave the knife to Dianna. Dianna walked toward her and tried to stab Chloe in the chest, but Chloe pushed the knife back up toward Dianna and somehow got a hold of the knife. At the point, she slashed Dianna's throat several times and then stabbed her in the stomach. This is the most gruesome dream I have had in my entire life. I could *feel* the pain of the knife cutting me open, even though it wasn't really me, it was Dianna. I woke up in a panic and couldn't go back to sleep for forty-five minutes.

Where Jayme argues about ApologetiX and Mom flips out about reporters
I dreamed that I went to the church for drama. Jayme and Dianna and I were meeting earlier, so I was there at 5:45. I went downstairs, but Jayme and I spent the whole time debating whether or not ApologetiX was a good band. She claimed that J. spent too much time "screaming the story instead of actually singing". Which beffled me, so I just said carefully, "Well... er... I generally think he sounds about as good as the artist they're parodying." Turns out the only one she'd ever heard was "Rock That Tower" which is a fun song but totally not their best. Then at 6:00 Kayla's dad turned up and said we needed to get over to the other building for an AWANA's skit. So we got up and left.

On our way up, Cindy (from Spanish) stopped me in the hallway and informed my mom had had a breakdown of some kind. So I went to the bathrooms, where I found my mom... er... like... SOBBING in the ladies' room. I asked her what on earth had happened, and it turns out there were a few reporters covering the AWANA's night. She said something like, "I know I shouldn't get so upset over something like this, but it just bothers me so much! I know I shouldn't have this fear of the media, but..." And I kept being vaguely comforting: "It's okay, Mom. It's okay. You'll be all right." Weird.

Where we go out to lunch with drama people and everyone laughs at me singing
I had a long dream, I don't remember much of it. I do remember I was going to be going out to lunch with drama students, except I couldn't read who had signed up for it. I had a calendar with dates on it and the students signed their names. One name was literally all squiggles and loops and didn't resemble a name at all. The other was written neatly but was entirely unhelpful as to who had written it. It said something like: "Yeah?" "Yeah." "Good-bye, Mrs. Kindley."

Somehow I had deciphered that we were going to have lunch with Stefanie and Carly, who were at the same school. Mom explained that for people who could eat faster than 30 minutes there was a 15-minute lunch, and both Stefanie and Carly were in that. I said, "Well, if I know Stefanie and Carly, it's because they don't eat at all." (Que?!)

Then I turn around and Sarah J. is in our house. I think, "Ohhh, not STEFANIE, SARAH..." (Even though Sarah isn't IN drama anymore.) Jayme's also there and, for some reason, so is Lisa. Mom starts talking to them and I have to use the bathroom, so I excuse myself. When I come back, they're all gathered around the computer listening to an MP3 of me singing "Unexpected Song" and laughing at it. (That's why I don't sing "Unexpected Song." It's WAY too high for me.)

There's another part of the dream where I think Mom and Dad and I are walking on a sidewalk at night. There's a fence next to us, and this little tiny yapping dog comes running up, goes FLYING over the fence, and lands on my head.

With the Chinese food vending machine and the skit about the ring
I remember being in the back yard, except it was overgrown with... um... ferns? And drama team people were there and... yeah, don't remember much about that part.

Then we were in the drama room, except Dianna kept leaving because she was trying to get some Chinese food for her invalid father. We had a Chinese food vending machine (?!?) in the room with the pop machine, but it was all out of bottles of soy sauce. So Dianna came back and asked if Jayme knew where any were, but none of us knew.

There was also a part where Chloe and Hannah were practicing a skit for drama that apparently Jayme had written, but it wasn't very good... it involved a ring, I remember that... and it was performed with Chloe and Hannah sitting on a bench.

Where I babysit Andie and I watch the movie where Dustin Hoffman has a delusional disease
I had a long dream, but I only remember two sections. In one, Jayme wanted me to babysit Andie for a few days, except Andie was a LOT smaller than she really is. She was like an infant. Jayme took me out to the garage where apparently Andie's baby stuff was stashed, and as we walked past it, she was like, "Don't mind the hairy growling monsters. They don't come around as often as they used to." Then it flashed ahead to a time when I was baby-sitting Andie and the family was going to zoo. I was ticked that I had to carry Andie around with me wherever I was going. (For some reason we didn't have a stroller or anything.)

The other section I remember was this part where I was watching a movie where Dustin Hoffman played this crazy guy who went to the doctor and the doctor said, "Hmm. Well, you could have a delusional disease that causes people to imagine a tall, skinny man named John McMamoush. Can you read this eye chart?" and the Dustin Hoffman character said nothing and the doctor started prompting him. "Come on, A-Z-L-R..." and Dustin Hoffman was like, "I CAN'T READ IT, OKAY?!"

Where Jayme and Mom and I go to McDonald's and get croutons
I dreamed I was going out to lunch with Jayme, except Mom ended up coming along with us. Jayme and Mom wrote out a list of what they wanted to order, and then Mom got stuck in a mud puddle in the middle of the road and told Jayme and me to go on without her.

So we went on to this McDonald's, except it was this tiny, tiny, TINY little store that had an arcade video game in there and it was crowded. So Jayme ordered a small order of chicken nuggets (which kind of threw me, since Mom informed me they would be getting a burger for me) and the guy dumped a small handful of croutons into my hand and said, "Come back later, we'll have your order for you."

So we went to Jayme's house, apparently not bothering to pick up Mom, and I suggested she look at the list of stuff we were to order, thinking that she had forgotten I wanted a burger. But she said I had the list, and sure enough, when I looked, I did. So I pulled it out and at the top of the list it said "2 Cupcakes" and it went on to list really weird things to order from a McDonald's... like "4 Vests (No Laterally Dark Whites, of course)" to which I responded, "Oh, that was definitely Mom who wrote that." I also read something that looked like "Syrup", and then, at the bottom, I finally found what I was looking for: "5 Burgers." "But instead we got chicken nuggets," I protested.

Jayme just nodded apologetically. "And we're going to have to split those." I looked down at my handful of croutons and thought, "I HOPE this isn't our whole meal..."

Where we redo the ATTWO play in ancient Roman garb
I dreamed that I was at drama and Jayme decided we were going to go thru the "And Then There Was One" play again for the next several practices, but focus on different people every time. Like nitpick them, I guess. She decided 'twould be Clayhorn and Mimms today. We get ready to start the scene and by a strange coincidence I am wearing my Mimms outfit 'cept the apron is tied around my neck and my Sunday skirt instead of the black dress. And Canaan is wearing his butler outfit, I think, except in hindsight it was nothing LIKE the butler outfit. It was like a green and red toga. *blink* Yeah.

We start going thru the scene. And we get as far as when he's supposed to pop up from behind the couch. So not very far. And he's not behind the couch, he's sitting on it. I'm a bit confused as he's supposed to be behind the couch, and sort of stop and look at Jayme, who says, "This is just a rehearsal. Don't worry. Just sit on him."

Needless to say I'm a bit taken aback by this instruction, and Jayme says, "Let's go back to your last line." But nobody can remember WHAT my last line is. (Thinking on it while I'm awake it would be, erm, my very first line. Since I only say one line before he's supposed to jump up. Hmm.)

I hunt around in my folder and finally find the script, except it's in an actual book instead of just a bunch of stapled papers. I open it up and realize my last line is something in FRENCH. I tell Jayme about this and she says, "Oh, yeah, we cut all that stuff out." I look through the script and discover there is a lot of stuff we never did in our performance.

Kayla goes up to practice next and I'm reading along with her in my script, but she reads one of the cut-out parts... a scene 5, where she rants and raves about the insanity of '60s music. But she also mentions "Hairspray." Whee!

At some point, too, Bethany was wheeling herself around in a wheelchair... hmm..

Where Mom, Dad, and Jayme rewrite ATTWO
I dreamed that my mom read the "And Then There Was One" play but didn't like it, so she, Dad, and Jayme all got together and rewrote the play for only six people. So I came to drama practice tonight and Jayme was there and was like, "We have to start all ooooover!"

Where we do the play with the hot air balloons and "hoobles"
I had a dream that we were doing our big production with the drama team, except it was like half-musical and nobody but me showed up for the first act. So Jayme was really ticked and had to take over the first act pretty much herself.

Then it was the second act and a bunch of other people showed up to be in it, including people who aren't in the drama team (like Jennifer from M-ville) and people who aren't even in the church (like Kay from my first semester of Spanish class). The finale of the second act was us holding this giant net above everybody's heads, and the net had hot air balloons painted on it, and it looked like there were hot air balloons above everyone's heads. We would pick up the net and it would sort of hoist itself up in the air.

So I was hanging around with Amanda and Kay and Jennifer, when I decided to go through and untie all these plastic hoops from the net. There were a bunch of plastic hoops tied onto the ropes at the edge of the net, and I decided they shouldn't be there, so I went through the first half of the net untying them while Rach(a?)el S. was singing on stage. Then Jayme walked past us yelling, "HOLD ON TO THE HOOBLES! HOLD ON TO THE HOOBLES!" And I realized that all the hoops were SUPPOSED to be on the ropes. So I, being the responsible person I was, ran off and decided to talk with other drama people outside.

Then it was almost time for us to go onstage, but we still had a few more minutes. We were all standing outside the church holding onto the net. And Jennifer said, "I can't WAIT until I get the Internet. Just think... I'll be free!" And I said, "That's what I thought." (??) And somebody next to me (it was a guy, but I can't remember who it was... might have been Canaan) said, "OH! I thought we all had to go around and share stories." And I was like, "Uh, yeah, HAPPY THOUGHTS TIME!" (Um... yes, this DID make sense in the dream.)

So then I decided I had time to mess around for a bit before I had to go onstage, so I ran around the church. I realized when I was at the opposite end of the net that we were about to start, and I panicked and ran back around the church back to where I started from, just in time to pick up the net and march in with everyone else. So we got the net up in the air and everybody was ooh-ing and aah-ing over the lovely hot air balloons.
