Where I guard Anthony Rapp's CDs
I dreamed there was a huge music festival in our house. Anthony Rapp was there, wearing a blue shirt, and I got to meet him. In fact, more than that - he asked me if I could guard his CD table while he went to go check on something. I said, sure, no problem. His CD table turned out to be in the little floor-level cupboard we keep our bowls and plates in. He put a stool and a bag of food inside the cupboard so I would be comfortable (although there's no way I could be really comfortable in there, considering I couldn't sit up all the way) and then went off to check out whatever he was checking on.
However, he never came back. I stayed there for like three days, and then eventually tried to find a program to see when the guy would be playing, so I could try and find him. The only schedule I found said that he was playing "windout," which meant he was the very last act on the very last day. I couldn't find anywhere listed on the schedule what day WAS the very last day, and wasn't sure what day today was, so eventually I just left the cupboard and wandered around.
I bought a few CDs, including a CD of Superchic[k] singing VeggieTales songs. Apparently most of these had been available on their website and now they were sticking them all on a CD.
I also watched a film clip where Idina Menzel and Mahalia Jackson were both up for a Dove Award for Best Song Written About Pennies. Idina's song "Penny" was nominated, as well as Mahalia's song apparently titled "Crawling For Pennies" or maybe "Carried By Pennies." Sandi Patty was presenting the award. The way the setup worked, Idina and Mahalia each had their own little podium with a mic, kind of like at a debate.
Sandi was obviously going to give Mahalia the Dove, but when she tried to pick up the mic from Mahalia to announce it, Mahalia wouldn't let her have it, so Sandi borrowed Idina's mic. Sandi was so grateful that Idina was so generous to her, that she decided to introduce her to the audience. "This is Idina," she said, and at that point dozens of reporters came swarming out asking Idina what it felt like to win the Dove Award.
Apparently this created a lot of controversy as to who REALLY won that award, Idina or Mahalia.
