Where I guard Anthony Rapp's CDs
I dreamed there was a huge music festival in our house. Anthony Rapp was there, wearing a blue shirt, and I got to meet him. In fact, more than that - he asked me if I could guard his CD table while he went to go check on something. I said, sure, no problem. His CD table turned out to be in the little floor-level cupboard we keep our bowls and plates in. He put a stool and a bag of food inside the cupboard so I would be comfortable (although there's no way I could be really comfortable in there, considering I couldn't sit up all the way) and then went off to check out whatever he was checking on.

However, he never came back. I stayed there for like three days, and then eventually tried to find a program to see when the guy would be playing, so I could try and find him. The only schedule I found said that he was playing "windout," which meant he was the very last act on the very last day. I couldn't find anywhere listed on the schedule what day WAS the very last day, and wasn't sure what day today was, so eventually I just left the cupboard and wandered around.

I bought a few CDs, including a CD of Superchic[k] singing VeggieTales songs. Apparently most of these had been available on their website and now they were sticking them all on a CD.

I also watched a film clip where Idina Menzel and Mahalia Jackson were both up for a Dove Award for Best Song Written About Pennies. Idina's song "Penny" was nominated, as well as Mahalia's song apparently titled "Crawling For Pennies" or maybe "Carried By Pennies." Sandi Patty was presenting the award. The way the setup worked, Idina and Mahalia each had their own little podium with a mic, kind of like at a debate.

Sandi was obviously going to give Mahalia the Dove, but when she tried to pick up the mic from Mahalia to announce it, Mahalia wouldn't let her have it, so Sandi borrowed Idina's mic. Sandi was so grateful that Idina was so generous to her, that she decided to introduce her to the audience. "This is Idina," she said, and at that point dozens of reporters came swarming out asking Idina what it felt like to win the Dove Award.

Apparently this created a lot of controversy as to who REALLY won that award, Idina or Mahalia.

Where Anthony Rapp is in some movie
I had a dream I was watching a movie with Anthony Rapp in it, except he was like...16. But he looked really weird. His head was really skinny. Every scene he was in, the music playing in the background was from his "Look Around" CD. Like his character would start listening to his CD. Weird.

Where Strong Bad and Stinko-Man sing Rent songs
I had this long dream but I can only remember it when I remember it backwards. Hmm. So I'm going to attempt to write it forwards.

I remember this part where we were in a Western setting and there were these two guys trying to get past a train, so one of them lay down on the tracks and just let the train go over him (except he didn't get crushed, the wheels just sort of...went past him) and the other guy went climbing over hills and stuff to get there. *blink* Weird.

Then I remember we were trying to find this pet of ours that had been kidnapped, so we went to this evil guy's house and he was asleep, lying under a sheet next to the pet. We pulled the sheet off, grabbed the pet, and ran. Next thing I know, StrongBad and Stinko-Man (as in anime StrongBad) were singing "What You Own" from Rent, with StrongBad playing Roger and Stinko-Man playing Mark. 'Cept I guess Stinko-Man couldn't sing cuz he was lip-synching to Anthony Rapp's voice from the OBC. Really odd.
