Where I look for a Dairy Queen
I dreamed I really, really wanted to go to Dairy Queen. Nathan had just gotten his license, so I decided to make him drive me out there. We kept getting lost, though, and wandered around and around. Nathan wasn't a very good driver - at one point he wanted to switch lanes so he stopped dead in the middle of the street, turned the steering wheel all the way to the left and CIRCLED his way around into the right lane. At that point I decided to take over driving.
We pulled into this little gas station we thought had a Dairy Queen, but it turned out it was a Kroger (which shifted identities frequently - first it was a Kroger, then a Target, then a Salvation Army, then a Sam's Club). I wandered all over the store looking for Dairy Queen but couldn't find it anywhere. So I just bought all these bags of candy, including this enormous Ziplock bag that had two candy hearts inside it. I also found a water bottle exactly the same as the cool one I have now that had a little tag on it that said "Regular Glass." I knew this meant that it was the same price as all the rest of the glasses in the store, which was $2. Great deal, considering we paid like $15 for mine.
