Where we run out of water and go into spider caves to get some
I had a dream that me and some other people were exploring out in the woods (uh, yeah, I'm a real woodsy person) and we found this stream with water in it and were going to take some back with us, but we had milk jugs full of water so we didn't bother.
Turns out we should have, because the next day was so hot that all the streams and rivers in IL dried up, and there was a huge drought. So that evening Mom wanted us all to sleep together in the living room, she thought that would be safer for some reason, and at one point she said something about giving us water in the morning. But Dad just snorted and said, "IF we have water in the morning!"
So that night I snuck out in search of that stream, and I took the people who were with me before (some guy and some girl) and along the way we found this scientist guy and invited him with us. We got to the stream and there was like this huge cavern and so we were rappelling down the side of the cavern, and the scientist went ahead and got eaten by giant spiders.
Then the spiders took me and my two friends and imprisoned us on this staircase right next to the cavern which, when I looked closer, was really a set of stairs going downwards. When the spiders weren't looking, I'd sneak down into the cavern, and I convinced my friends to do the same thing, to escape. So we were sneaking down into the cavern and for some reason we had this giant pair of sneakers with us, and they fell off and went into the cavern, and my friends fell down into the cavern, too.
