Where I go to Gabon but Sarah is in my Spanish class with a new baby sister
I dreamed that me, my mom, and Bethany, decided to drop into Gabon unexpectedly to give Sarah L. a surprise visit. We walked into their house and it was like... a three-room house. They had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. The interior was really dark, and there was a couch up against the wall. The sun was shining in my eyes and all I could see were silhouettes ("and all you hear are castanets..." but not in the dream) except then I saw this old guy and blond girl sitting on the couch. Mrs. L. called from the kitchen to say she'd be in a minute, she was doing the dishes. I kept looking for Sarah, but I didn't see her, so I went over to introduce myself to the blond girl. (It wasn't Naomi, though, this girl was like 18 or so.)
"Hannah M.," I said.
"Victoria," she responded.
"How old are you?"
And she gave some long weird explanation about how I think she was almost 18, but she didn't just say "I'm almost 18," she spent like ten minutes explaining it.
And then the old guy jumps in. "My wife and me saw Vicky sitting on a bench in this train station and we couldn't just let her SIT there, so we adopted her." (Note, I'm nearly sure this came from my watching Importance of Being Earnest last night, where one of the heroes was found as a baby in a handbag in Victoria Station.)
Then next thing I know, I've tracked Sarah down. She's at school, in Spanish class (erm... well in MY school and MY Spanish class actually), and she's being exceptionally loud and disruptive. She can't remember a word, so she just goes, "Algo, algo, algo, algo, algo!" (Translation: "Something, something, something, something, something!")
And then she said something about "el primer ano" (the first year) and one of the guys she was with pipes up, "Is it true that if you say 'primer' real fast, it means bodily fluids?" (?!?) and Sarah starts cracking up laughing and goes, "I pulled a pabritzo from my nose this morning!" and everyone cracks up more and I'm totally confused.
Then we're all sitting down in the class, except Naomi is there too (with long brown hair, I might add) and Sarah's baby baby sister (who doesn't exist in RL) is lying on the table. This baby is like... probably four or five months old. She's just lying there, not moving around or anything, just looking around.
Then, out of the blue, she turns to me and says, "Hi." So I respond with "Hi." From then on the exchange goes like this: "Hi." "Hi." "Hi hi." "Hi hi." "Hi hi hi hi hi." "Hi hi hi hi hi." "Hi." "Hi." "Brothersisterllamachicken." At which time it occurs to me this baby is awfully young to be able to speak like that. So I ask Sarah how old she is. The baby answers (and she is now wearing glasses, too) with, "I'm TWO!"
Erm. Yes. Then I woke up.
