Where I order the expensive lasagna
I don't remember much of my dream. I remember going to a mall with my family, except my mother was Julie Andrews, except her name was really Tookie. Then I went off to get dinner for myself, so I went into this dingy little Italian restaurant. I had a sense of having been there before. I decided to order the lasagna, which was $7.25 for one tiny little slice. Dad showed up and said, "Oh, yeah, you were here before when we came to this mall!" And I felt stupid about spending that much money on lasagna, so I tried to excuse myself by saying, "Well, the lasagna is REALLY good..." And because there were only like two tables in this restaurant, I ended up being seated next this really huge, disgusting guy who SHOVELED all his food into his mouth.

Where Extreme Faith is really a NaNoWriMo
I dreamed I went to Extreme Faith except it turned out to be a NaNoing weekend. Yeah, we had to write 50,000 words in one weekend. The best part is we didn't have computers or typewriters or anything, we all just had these tiny little 60-page notebooks that we would pull out and write stuff in. I remember Chloe and Tyler and Manda were all part of it. And Holly M., who I haven't seen in ages. In fact, Holly tried to give me one of her notebooks - a little red one with white bunnies all over it - but I didn't want it.

Where the Samurai proposes to me and PJ gets a role in The Music Man
I dreamed, first of all, that Broadway was reviving The Music Man and PJ tried out and got the part of Harold Hill. So on my way to Circa 21, I was riding with him and Dacia, and he had a cassette tape of the show and was singing along to it so he could learn his part. Dacia had this disgusted look on her face and was like, "He does this ALL THE TIME now!"

Instead of Circa 21 however, they dropped me off at the church and left. There was a wedding going on at the church, so I just sat outside in the hallway and waited for someone to come get me. Then this samurai dude showed up and sat next to me. Out of the blue, he goes, "Soooo where do you want to live when you grow up and get married?" I asked him where that came from and he said, "Well I really think that we could be good together, you know?" And I told him I'd think about it, and left.

The next day I look outside and he's driving up in a limo. He gets out and leans against the limo, obviously waiting for me to come out and give him my answer. I go outside to tell him no, but right as I get to the limo, this woman on the inside of the limo GRABS the samurai dude, pulls him inside the car, and speeds away! I remember thinking, "Aww, she doesn't want him to marry me. Good." And going back inside my house.

Where Amanda confines herself to her house
I dreamed I called Amanda to see if we were going to meet with her and Amber today, but she said, "Thursday? Oh, no, Thursdays aren't good for me. Those are the days when I confine myself to my house and improving myself."

Where Mom gives me 18 presents and Dad wants me to be in Bye Bye Birdie
I dreamed I was having my 18th birthday again and Mom was like, "We have to give you 18 presents! No, wait. We'll give you 18 presents, one every hour, for 18 hours. No, wait! Even better! We'll give you 18 presents, one every hour, for 18 hours, and they'll increase in weight! Like the first one will be one pound, the second one will be two pounds, and so on all the way up to eighteen pounds!"

Then this dude from my intro to performance of lit class showed up and wouldn't leave. He just sat in my living room and wouldn't leave. I was getting really ticked off, but Dad was like, "Oh, let him stay! After all, you're both going to try out for Bye Bye Birdie!" Which was the first I'D heard of that. I protested that I WASN'T going to try out for Bye Bye Birdie, but he insisted I had to, because I'd never have the chance again.

Where I crushed the fly
I only remember a little bit of this dream... at one point there was a fly on my leg, and I kept touching the fly with this tiny bicycle wheel. Every time I did, it would make this horrified buzzing sound that scared me. And then I crushed it with the bicycle wheel and it like... splatted everywhere. It grossed me out and woke me up.

Where Dianna's family moves into our house
I dreamed we were moving and Dianna's family was going to move into our house. I was back in what is now the girl's bedroom and angrily packing up all my stuff. I had also accidentally dunked our pen drive in water. (This probably came from two moments of did-I-lose-the-pen-drive?! anxiety from yesterday.)

With the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit play
I had two dreams in a row. The first one involved our galaxy slowly erasing itself for no explicable scientific reason, so we had to escape to another galaxy, which we thought might kill us but we weren't sure.

Then I dreamed that I showed up at drama and we were all getting ready for this play we were supposed to do at the local high schools. We all had these bizarre costumes on - I was dressed up as a princess, and I remember Hannah A. and Joey were both dressed up as chimney sweeps. Turns out, the play we were doing was Lord of the Rings. (Um... yeah, that was my first guess.) Except the plot was really more like The Hobbit with Frodo instead of Bilbo.

We went to Sterling High and performed it there. I played Frodo and also did the voice work for Bilbo (who looked exactly like the Babylon 5 creature that says "Zog") and Gollum (who looked like a giant grasshopper). Frodo met Gollum while wandering around in this smoke-filled cave looking for Bilbo. My line was, "Bilbo! Bilbo!" Pretty easy to remember, right? Well, I messed it up, and wandered in yelling, "Gollum! Bilbo!" And was pretty sure I heard snickers coming from the audience.

Our Smaug was rather intriguing, too. He was a giant stone dragon head that we attached to a string on the ceiling and swung him back and forth over the audience's heads.

Where the radio plays Lea Salonga
I dreamed I was listening to this radio station and looking at their schedule for what they were playing. They were doing some sort of marathon-type thing except not really. They had all these singers and bands and for an hour would just play music from one band. Then the next hour it would be only music from this other band. And so on. So Hour 1 they played ApologetiX, but I found I'd missed that. Hour 6, however, was just starting, and they were playing stuff Lea Salonga sang. (An entire hour of that?)

Needless to say, I wanted this, so I ran off with a cassette tape so I could tape this and listen to it later, too. The only working cassette player with radio is in my mom's room (in RL too) and so I went to see if I could use it. Mom opened the door and I suddenly remembered she had been really cranky that day. So I tentatively asked if I could do this, and she said, "Sure! I'll just sit in a chair outside, if you don't mind!" I had a sneaky suspicion I'd somehow offended her, but I couldn't think how.

With Macarthur and Radames-from-Rome
I dreamed that this soldier from ancient Rome, who actually looked a lot like Radames from Aida, and a Native American princess, who looked like Pocahontas, fell in love. Except the princess was already engaged to someone from her tribe named Macarthur. Authentic Native American name there. So Radames-from-Rome (henceforth referred to as RFR) cut off Macarthur's foot... real nice guy... and then he sent him to this painting class in Rome three times a week. Macarthur was, for some reason, eternally grateful to RFR, proclaiming, "I get to leave the village three times a week? OKAY!"

So RFR and the princess have their li'l secret rendezvous with Macarthur none the wiser. So scrupulous. And this really does sound Aida-esque. One day RFR goes to the painting class to see how Macarthur is doing, but Macarthur's not there. In fact, no one's there. There are desks all over the room, but the only person there is an English scrub lady who informs him that Macarthur knows all about them and has gone off to kill RFR.

RFR races back to the village, and then we cut to Macarthur arriving there, needless to say a little slow since he only has one foot. He arrives and sees the Indian chief, who informs him that he has already sold the princess to RFR. Macarthur watches sadly as RFR and the princess ride off in a Colonial covered wagon (what historical place and time IS this story in anyway?!)

Suddenly, the princess LEAPS out of the wagon and starts barreling back toward the Indian chief in slow mo, yelling, "Daaaaaaaaaddddddyyyyyyyyyyyy!" and the Indian chief runs toward her in slow motion and it's all very weird and cheesy reuniting after being apart a whole three seconds. (And what will be RFR's reaction to this?) Then the chief pulls out a camera and tries to take a picture of the princess as he's running toward her, but then he accidentally drops the camera into the ocean which is, incidentally, next to the field of grass they're running to. And then they embrace lovingly and it's the end.

Where I'm in a small group in an acting class
I dreamed I was in a small group in some acting class with Manda (who was mad at me) and Canaan (who was mad that there were no Christian heavy metal bands... ??) and Tyler (who was mad because of something else I don't remember). We all like sat around in a circle and just stared at each other and didn't DO anything.

Next I remember sitting in the sanctuary with Alesha H. who was apparently also in the class, and we had to make up our own play and perform it. So Alesha and I worked on Cinderella together. And.... there were songs in it?

Where Carmen writes her memoirs, I go on a fast elevator, and try to persuade the swamp-king to leave the swamp
I had a huge dream I'm going to try and recount. At one point Carmen was writing her memoirs and spent like 3/4 of the book talking about Red, a former boyfriend, and saying next to nothing about her REAL current boyfriend, Bryan. I remember thinking, "Oh, boy, Bryan's gonna like that a lot..."

And then... I was on a quest...? Someone was looking for their father... and there was an enemy... I remember standing in line in this futuristic-looking building, and meeting up with the enemy and their friend. We were standing in line for the elevator. The elevator was this big thing that would WHOOSH up really fast. I had apparently ridden it before and commented to someone else in line how much I loved this "ride". However before I knew it I had ridden the elevator up and back down and I hadn't even noticed.

We found this dude's father sitting in a swamp... he was a huge guy, like a giant, and kept lifting this crown in and out of the swamp water. We were trying to persuade him to come back to civilization, but he wouldn't. Wish I could remember more of this...
