Where we go to Elliott's birthday party
I dreamed that I went to youth group and Elliott from American Idol was there. We talked for a little bit and he invited everyone in the youth group to his birthday party, which he was having at a skating rink. On our way out to the skating rink, though, my family stopped off to rescue a skunk trapped in a barn. When we got out to the barn, we realized that something terrible had happened to it. There was this general sense of "oh, no, bad stuff". There was also an earthquake at some point, but that wasn't the bad thing.

Where Nathan plays a video game
I dreamed I was watching a play called Roxie. It starred Katharine Hepburn and some other famous actress named Audrey Umber, except they didn't show up until the very end. Then they did show up, and Katharine said, "Aren't you glad for all the new friends you've made today?" To which Audrey replied, yes, and began listing them all: "Billy, and Danny, and..." When she finished the list, Katharine said, "You forgot Roxie!" Audrey gasped and said, "Oh, dear! I'll try again." She repeated the entire list, stopping halfway through to say, "I'm trying not to forget Roxie!" but she forgot Roxie again . . . so she had to do the whole thing over again. This happened about three more times. Katharine just kept getting madder and saying things like, "Just spit it out!" I then read a review of this play, and someone said, "This is what I love about the old movie actresses. They can be funny without repeating the same thing over and over!"
Then it switched to real life, and I was watching Nathan play some video game with a main character named Benton, who was out in the middle of a field. Right in front of him was a fireplace, and to his far right was a cafeteria. Nathan was going to make his character "exit east," but for some reason I wanted his character to only take two steps east and then sit down in front of a cabinet. When Nathan asked me why I wanted him to do this, I said, "Well, that's what they did in the play!" So he tried to take two steps east (except, er, in actuality he was going west) and then it popped up a screen that said "EXIT EAST?" so he chose yes, and this is what his character did - took two steps to the left, five steps down, about twelve steps to the right, and then seven steps up into the cafeteria.
The game was full of Engrish and nonsensical dialogue, too. At one point a unicorn showed up. When someone told Benton, there was this exchange: "There's a unicorn." "A unicorn?" "Yes. (Closing his eyes and pounding his forehead with his hand) But sometimes I lose control of him with my mind!"
Then, later, Benton went to go find the unicorn, who had turned into a horse. When he found him, Benton's line was, "Well, whatever you do, don't find a unicorn and merge with him and make yourself a unicorn! Bye."

Where Paula loses the projects
I dreamed I was at the church, leaving youth group. The Kingdom Seekers were running youth that evening, and as I left they were all running around like crazy, trying to find a bunch of "projects" that were supposed to be turned in. Everyone was really ticked at Paula because apparently they thought she had lost them. She kept yelling, "I did NOT lose the projects!" As far as I could figure out, the projects involved a bunch of video cameras, so as I left I sincerely hoped they could find them.

Where we have to clean up the church
I dreamed we were at church. Frankie was trying to give announcements, but he stumbled over his words a few times. Every time he did this, a group of elderly sailor men would repeat the word that he goofed up and then burst out laughing. Then they started doing that even for words he DIDNT goof up. It got kind of old after awhile, and Frankie was getting frustrated. "We will be having a meeting tonight..." "TONIGHT?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Next thing I know, my family, me, Alicia, and Angela are doing the dishes. We only have a note from the people at the church telling us what they want done. They tell us that when we finish washing dishes, we're supposed to hide them, because apparently last week someone had broken in and stolen a Switchfoot and a Stacie Orrico CD from the church and they were worried someone might break in and steal the dishes, too. The kitchen is an absolute mess, so we have plenty of places to hide the dishes. However, we ultimately decide to hide them . . . under other plates.

Where I flunk Creative Writing and interview Norbert
I dreamed I was an hour late to my Creative Writing final (which isn't really a final at all, we're just folding and stapling the litmag) so I just didn't show up. Then I went to my instructor's house to ask her if there was anything I could do to make up for it. She said, "No, I'm sorry, if you miss the final, you flunk the class. Sorry, there's nothing I can do. It's a rule." I thought she was going to be really ticked at me, but she was very pleasant about it.
Then Christy showed up at my house and told me she had an opportunity to interview Norbert and did I want to come along? I said of course I did, but when we got to his house, he was like a drunken mess and just kept talking about weird random stuff. I got scared and left.

Where Grandma and I discuss Love Is My Legs
I dreamed my grandma was at my house and she had an MP3 player. She asked me if I'd heard this song, and played a disco version of Love Is My Legs. I asked her if she'd heard the real one, but she said, no, she'd only heard this one. Then I told her that they created an entirely new category in the Tonys for that song. "They created the category of 'Most Humorous Song,' just so they'd be able to give a Tony to this song."
