Where we go out to lunch with drama people and everyone laughs at me singing
I had a long dream, I don't remember much of it. I do remember I was going to be going out to lunch with drama students, except I couldn't read who had signed up for it. I had a calendar with dates on it and the students signed their names. One name was literally all squiggles and loops and didn't resemble a name at all. The other was written neatly but was entirely unhelpful as to who had written it. It said something like: "Yeah?" "Yeah." "Good-bye, Mrs. Kindley."

Somehow I had deciphered that we were going to have lunch with Stefanie and Carly, who were at the same school. Mom explained that for people who could eat faster than 30 minutes there was a 15-minute lunch, and both Stefanie and Carly were in that. I said, "Well, if I know Stefanie and Carly, it's because they don't eat at all." (Que?!)

Then I turn around and Sarah J. is in our house. I think, "Ohhh, not STEFANIE, SARAH..." (Even though Sarah isn't IN drama anymore.) Jayme's also there and, for some reason, so is Lisa. Mom starts talking to them and I have to use the bathroom, so I excuse myself. When I come back, they're all gathered around the computer listening to an MP3 of me singing "Unexpected Song" and laughing at it. (That's why I don't sing "Unexpected Song." It's WAY too high for me.)

There's another part of the dream where I think Mom and Dad and I are walking on a sidewalk at night. There's a fence next to us, and this little tiny yapping dog comes running up, goes FLYING over the fence, and lands on my head.

Where I go bowling, do VBS, date a guy who sings "Dancing Through Life" but won't help Dad carry the Christmas ornaments
I had a very, very long, weird dream... I'll recount as much of it as I can.

I was at some sort of youth function, as a student. It was sort of like a missions trip, it was week-long, except it was held at the church. And we'd alternate where we went every day. Half the days we'd stay at the church and do something fun, the other half we'd go out and minister to people. Except for some reason I only ended up doing the fun stuff, and they decided to go bowling. (So much for staying at the church.) We drove out to this deserted road, in a big van, and for some reason Kim C. was following us in her car. We stopped on the deserted road, got out, and talked for while with Kim by the side of the road.

Next thing I know, we're at the bowling place, except it's not bowling anymore, it's laser tag, and Shannon from Green Bay is running it. I remember Stefanie being there and for some reason I was all worried she wouldn't have any fun there.

And then... I'm back at the church, helping with a VBS thing. The kids are having their Bible lesson and I, as apparently the only leader, am sitting on a blanket on the floor in the fellowship hall. The kids are all lined up neatly, reading this little book that was given to them. Suddenly this girl pipes up, apparently reading from the book, "LAMIDO means Hannah. And GLECKL means Crystal." She had found a list of names translated into other languages. So I was like, "Crystal - I take it your name's Crystal?" She nodded. "Why don't you not read until snack time?" Then I notice the snack coordinators laying out the napkins and cookies and stuff. "Which, I guess, is in like 30 seconds. So you can go eat." And the kids all jump up and go eat.

I'm still sitting there on my blanket when some guy walks up to me (I can't see who it is), sits down next to me and says, "Would you like to hear the story of my life?" and belts into song about how he went to college but he doesn't believe it in anymore... (Heh, I'm thinking along the lines of "Dancing Through Life" *grin*)

Apparently he really charmed me with this weird song, because in the next scene, it's Christmas and this guy and I are dating (as IF). I bring him over to my house to meet my parents, who are setting up a Christmas tree outside. (Hmm.) Dad's bringing down a huge box of ornaments from the attic, but my very rude bf just stands there, not helping Dad, who is dragging the box down the stairs and singing very loudly. My bf starts tapping his feet in time to the music, although the whole time he's got this blank stare on his face. Apparently he gets the idea that it might be good to help Dad with the box, and picks the other end up, still marching his feet in time to the music. Dad looks at him and proclaims, "You're supposed to RANT! And RAVE!"

Then there's this sequence with two other bfs doing this, my bringing them home to meet my parents and the tree decorating and the guys behaving very rudely... heh... I guess apparently I boot 'em out after that, because it's always a new guy.

Now if THAT dream has a meaning, I'm not sure I want to know what it is...

Where Tim is in the Special Olympics
I had a long dream about a missions trip. At one point, we were eating hamburgers, and I sensed that Stefanie wanted to talk, so I pulled my chair up to hers and she started talking but she was talking really quietly so I couldn't hear all that she had said, only that Tim was in the Special Olympics. So I was thinking, "Oh my gosh! What happened to him?" but I prayed out loud for him and was like, "Lord, please help Tim with whatever's wrong with him..."

Then I heard this burst of laughter behind me, and I turned around and Angela was there laughing hysterically. "What are you laughing at?" I asked, but she just kept laughing and shaking her head. "What did I say?" More laughter and head-shaking. "What did SHE say?" I asked, pointing toward Stefanie. Finally she gathered herself enough to say, "Tim isn't IN the Special Olympics, he volunteered to HELP at the Special Olympics."

Then at some point, Sarah and Jasmine were standing up on chairs and talking about the last missions trip. Jasmine was like, "And all you did the whole week was whine" (in a very whiny tone) "'I wanna go home! I wanna go home!' And then when we started to go home you were like, 'I wanna stay here! I wanna stay here!'"

This was all like in the backyard of a hotel while we were waiting for PJ and the other leaders to return from checking out.

With the end of the world
Last night all my dreams were...very strange. I had one where I dreamed that Stefanie had found out this huge secret (don't remember what the secret was, but I remember it was like this really life-changing thing) and was like laughing at me...

And then the rest of the dream had an enormous atmospheric impact on me. It was me and a group of people who apparently all knew that the end of the world or something was coming so we were all getting ready. Then the end came... the lights in the house all went out. We all looked around... then it started getting darker... and suddenly we knew it was the end.

Then I woke up partially, opened my eyes and saw I was still in my bed...and sort of faded back off into my dreamworld, where I dreamed all these people were back and had all had similar dreams and knew that it meant something significant, but they didn't know what.

Where I go to a museum
My wrist is out of commission so this might be a short blog :)

I had a dream last night that the youth group was going to a museum. There were rooms titled "2000," "2001," "2002," and "2004." (What happened to '03, I don't know.) So we went in and were looking at them, but the only one I remember was 2000. It was a completely metal room with all sorts of shoes all over the place. It was supposed to be a tribute to what life was like in the year 2000 but...er... yeah. Wasn't quite accurate.

I remember at some point that I conversed with Stefanie and Carly...but I don't remember what exactly went on.

There was also a tae kwon do tournament...but Nathan wasn't in it, I was... and I do remember talking to Randy and Jeanne M. about church stuff, but I don't know why I was in that conversation...

Basically a lot of disjointed memories.
