Where Paris Bennett comes to me for counseling
I dreamed that someone recommended that I should counsel Paris Bennett from American Idol, because apparently she was under a lot of stress. She then showed up at my front door crying.

With the killer bees
I dreamed that there was a team of killer bees. Six of them were smart and the rest were all just clones without brains. The smart ones were named J, B, R, C, X, and Quincy.

Where Melissa is pregnant
I dreamed that I found out Melissa McGhee from American Idol REALLY left the show because she was pregnant with Ryan Seacrest's baby. When they found this out, they brought Ayla back in Melissa's place.

Where I have to float up the church stairs
I dreamed my entire family was visiting relatives, except we were meeting at the church. As I was going down the stairs at one point, I noticed people coming upstairs who looked like Sara R's family. That is, they were wearing their clothes, and had all of the same hair color and height as them - but they looked different. That was when I realized that once you started walking up the stairs, your appearance would start changing. I knew that I had to somehow transport my family safely up the stairs. That was when I realized...I was really a My Little Pony, and I had wings! So I began planning to fly my family, one by one, up the stairs, on my back.

Where I singlehandedly ruin Jen's wedding
I dreamed that it was Jen and Evan's wedding again, except I was supposed to be a bridesmaid. I showed up at the church on the day of the wedding, and someone gave me my bridesmaid's dress. It looked exactly like the dress Felicity wears on the cover of the book Felicity's Surprise. The blue thing.

I went off to the bathroom to put it on. I still had my giant broken-foot boot on, and for some reason I kept taking the boot off and putting it back on, trying to get it to look okay. I heard the opening music playing in the sanctuary, and muttered to Bethany, who was around somewhere, "Oh, great! I'm NEVER going to get over there in time!" Suddenly the music stopped and I heard Evan say, really ticked-sounding, "Stop the music. Someone's late." Then, a moment later, Mr. P knocked on the bathroom door and when I said he could come in (I was just about ready), he opened the door and snarled at me, "Sheesh, hurry up, will you?"

For some reason Jen and her attendants weren't walking down the aisle, they were coming out of the rooms behind the stage, so when I was finished I walked down the aisle and into the back room, where Jen was crying because her wedding had been messed up. I started crying too because I felt so bad, and kept going, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," and then said, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been part of this, I'll just go" and was about to take off, but Jen said, "No, now that you're here we might as well go through with this."

So the entire wedding started all over again. Jen went out first, and then the attendants were supposed to follow her, one at a time...except this time the girl AHEAD of me had trouble with her dress and wasn't going out on time. I thought, "Okay, I'll give her some extra time and I'll go out first." Except somehow I ended up walking up the stairs and then back down through the baptistry, and as I walked out I noticed that the other bridesmaid had gotten her stuff figured out and was also walking out of the stage door. Jen looked up at me and I knew that she was going to start crying again because I had ruined her wedding AGAIN.

There was also a portion of the dream where I was at SEMP and called my dad up and apparently Simon from American Idol had been hanging out with my dad a lot while I was gone. And I went to go visit my friend Laura from school, but instead I met her mom and younger sister, who looked EXACTLY like her. It was creepy.

Where the gunmen kill a bunch of random people including me
I dreamed that a group of people (including *deep breath* me, Elizabeth Taylor, my French instructor, Hurley from the TV show Lost, my mom, Jude Law, and Kevin Covais from American Idol) were all in a room, about ready to protest something. At that point a blonde Hurley burst through the door yelling, "They're coming! They're coming!"

A moment later, two masked gunmen came in and announced they were going to kill everyone. They shot Kevin first, and then said, "Hmm...who should we shoot next?" Then they saw me and said, "Elizabeth's sister!" They pointed their gun at me and shot me, but only in the shoulder (it didn't really hurt, either). I looked at them and shrugged, indicating I was still alive. This made them mad and they pointed it at my stomach and shot me. I remember blood exploding everywhere and fading into unconsciousness.

Where Christy's parents are mad at me
I dreamed that Christy's parents suddenly got really, really mad at me for something, although I didn't know what. I couldn't reason with them, so Mom and Dad decided to take them out to dinner and try to talk sense into them. I waited eagerly for Mom and Dad to get home, but when they did, they were storming around. They had a styrofoam box full of leftovers, and were throwing them all over the place. "Those people are just entirely unreasonable!" my mom said. "So we stole their food."

Where my sisters and I are running away
I had an incredibly long winding dream. I had two little sisters - the youngest one was about five and named Pom-Pom and the other one was probably thirteen or so and named something normal like Jane. We were running away for some reason. Along the way we realized that there was treasure where we were, hidden in people's homes, and we decided to find it. We didn't know exactly what the treasure was, but we were definitely going to find it.

We would ask people if we could stay at their house, and then find out something weird was going on, search the house, and usually find nothing, except the owner would find out what we were doing and chase us out. In one instance, Pom-Pom and Jane and I ran across about twelve fields of . . . grass, actually, being chased by several girls, one of which was Kellie from American Idol. Eventually we made it out by each leaping over these nine-foot wooden fences (even Pom-Pom). We knew Kellie wouldn't be able to follow us.

It was at this point that we found these holes in the ground. Next to them was a newspaper that talked about how aliens might have landed here. We got all excited and decided that something alien-related was the treasure we were looking for.

The bulk of this story took place at a farm, which was the next place we went. The people there were awfully nice. They gave us each our own room (mine had a computer in it), even though they had like six kids.

The day after we got there was Sunday, so we all went to church with them. We sat up in the very, very front of the church, and at the end of the service there was a potluck. Several people came up to us and introduced themselves, including a guy who was clearly my stalker from school, except his name was, like... Dr. Hall or something.

We started talking, and at this point everything kinda meshed over into real life, because my parents were suddenly there, and as "Dr. Hall" and I talked, it turned out he was entering the Phidian writing contest as well. Then he pulled out a checkbook and wrote two checks and gave them to me. They were both made out to me, but one was $12 and was for Phidian, and the other was like $111 or something weird and said on it "for college and knowledge".

I started protesting that he couldn't pay for my Phidian entry OR my college education, and at that point my dad came up and said, "So, what are you doing?" I tried to explain what Dr. Hall was trying to do, and my dad looked ULTRA disapproving. (As was I!)

So I went home to the farm, where apparently I was still living, even though my parents were around, and every night when I checked my email Dr. Hall's email would be waiting for me. I'm not sure how he got my email, but it started creeping me out a lot. So Pom-Pom and Jane and I decided to leave.

The next house we found was an older woman's. When we went in, Pom-Pom was covered in disgusting, drippy mud. She looked a bit like No-Face from Spirited Away when it was covered in the guck. She walked right into the woman's house, went to the toilet, and threw up.

As we investigated the house, we didn't find any suspicious things. We were about ready to leave until Jane remembered that when the old woman had given us a tour of the house, she said of the attic, "Once when Gertie was coming down the stairs, she hurt her toe." While we hadn't any idea who Gertie was, we concluded that this must mean there was something suspicious in the attic. We searched around up there and finally triumphed - we found a blue nail and a blue poker chip.

We decided this would be the best moment to leave, so we crept out the back yard gate, only to find a giant ferocious dog that was apparently the woman's. We slammed the gate shut and realized that she didn't want us to just sneak out.

Where the youth play has songs in it and Dad breaks Mom
I had a dream that at one point Jayme and Dianna were going to re-write the spring play so that it had songs in it. I wasn't too sure about this idea, so I read through some of their re-writes. They had definitely re-written it as an Oregon Trail diary, with lots of bad songs that were parodies of real songs. However, I decided to try one out, so I had the drama team try to practice one that was written to the tune of "You're the Top". Considering most of them couldn't sing, it sounded really good.

Next thing I knew, I was getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. My mom and dad's room is right next to the bathroom. For some reason I decided to open their door (to say good night to them, I think). When I opened the door, my mom was trying to exercise, and Dad was apparently trying to help her out. He had picked her up and somehow scrunched her up until she was practically in the fetal position. She started screaming that she'd never be able to straighten out again, so he quickly let go of her and she landed on the bed. But it was true, she wasn't able to straighten herself out. She just sort of lay there on the bed, trying to move back into normal position and shaking.

Where I go to the Halloween service
I had a dream it was Halloween and I went to a Catholic chapel. The priest was being completely nonsensical and generally not being any help at all, and I was desperately trying to find someone to actually run the service. Then I saw Dani, who was sitting in this pink frilly dress (very much like Glinda's "Popular" dress) and was chanting some Latin words. I was quite relieved that there was somebody who knew what they were doing, and I was able to just sit back and enjoy the Halloween service.

Where I take my baby to the swamp
I dreamed I had a baby and had to drive out to this swamp to visit this wise old man and get the baby to safety. Someone kept driving a car through this old man's driveway, and then I found myself stuck in his house while he was gone getting groceries. The whole time, there was this sense of terrible forboding, like I was eventually going to die, no matter what I did. Nathan was trying to help me, too, but I wouldn't help him out by telling him who was after me or anything.

Where there are lots of spiders
I dreamed that there were a lot of the spiders from Corpse Bride running all over the place, and I had a long conversation with Nathan about how I much preferred spiders with big fat legs to spiders with little teeny ones, because spiders with little teeny legs looked ickier when they walked fast. (It's true, too!)

Where I was playing the weird computer game
I dreamed I was playing some sort of computer game, where you would keep trying to get tasks done and then things would come up to prevent it. Like you had to leave the house, but you couldn't leave without your oxygen helmet. So you had to go back to get your oxygen helmet, but you couldn't get the microwave door open. (For some reason you kept your oxygen helmet in the microwave.) So you got the door open, but then you couldn't figure out how to strap on the helmet. And so on. If you got something wrong, you died and then had to start all over.

I was the very first person to play this game and then, for some reason, it really caught on and people started playing it all the time. The initial game page started looking like a MySpace profile, with the Top 8 space being filled with the last eight people to sign up for an account on this game site. I got so ticked with having to open up the "See All Friends" page and then scroll down to like the 200th page to find my site, that I stopped playing the game.

Then the game sort of half turned into reality. I was playing it, but it was really me (except I looked like Sarah L) and I was standing on this wooden staircase that looked sort of like a fire escape. It was really foggy. My creative writing instructor from the college came walking up the stairs and said, "Isn't this game great?" I said sure, even though I didn't really like it. She continued with, "And don't you just love how once you say something you can't ever take it back?" I said, "Actually, I don't like that very much," and she said, "Oh, well, I love it!" and just continued up the stairs.
